Was the longest title I ever seen. Just call it Watamote for short. What? You want to know the title's meaning in english? "No Matter How I Look at It, It’s You Guys' Fault I’m Not Popular!" is the title meaning.

It's about a girl named Tomoko Kuroki, an otaku, and a gamer, much like Konata Izumi from Lucky Star, but she isn't popular, and she shows more of her 'single' side and unsocial. She tried and tried to be different and want to attract others around her, she wants to be noticed and to be confirmed that she actually exist there the whole time. Sometimes she thought maybe her personalities, or her appearances are wrong, but none of them actually matters, she just think of trifling things too much and that ruin her to the worst where she wished she could have just quickly disappear from there.

Want to have friends is her second desire. His first desire is to have a boyfriend and become popular among everyone. Although, none of her fantasy happen. It left her to despair. And it lead her to consult with her brother, Tomoki Kuroki. Her brother shows many affection for Tomoko in their childhood past, but since Tomoko's current condition and situation, he started to act cold, and wonder what on earth is his older sister is thinking and what is his goal.

Yu Naruse is Tomoko's junior highschool one and only friend. She came to Tomoko one day and wished everything will always be the same like in their junior highschool. Tomoko agreed and she was happy that Yu actually care for their past in junior highschool. Later, Tomoko said her great speech about Yu's wish and made Yu said the thing that makes her come to Tomoko around that time was because she got rejected by a boy. This makes Tomoko frustrated. Although, since that day, Yu decided to accompany Tomoko around and allow her to call her anytime she want. But, too bad she's usually busy, and left Tomoko all alone in her life again. Tomoko as Otaku addict and height makes her almost looked like Konata Izumi in Lucky Star. Just that, she isn't really social and too much thinking relationship.

Yeah, it's boring to stay with the same guy forever. He just says the same things all the time, and he can only love you in one way. Every day is the same as the last, like waves rolling in and out. I think, to become great woman, one needs lots of romantic experiences, rather than just one man.
