Detective Haika

The main character named Kanda Sorata. He's a guy who often take cares of stranded cats who doesn't have owner, thus made him transferred to a dorm called Sakurasou, the only dorm who allowed pets. He promised to himself, that after he's done with finding the owner for the cats, he will back to his own dorm that's not really deserted and one that he thought might be better than Sakurasou at first.


The residence there are Kamiigusa Misaki and Jin Mitaka as senior. Their teacher named Chihiro Sengoku. Then Kanda Sorata, Akasaka Ryunosuke, Nanami Aoyama and Mashiro Shiina the newest person who transferred there. The second main character is Mashiro Shiina, a genius, a painter who gave up and transferred there just to make a manga. Her genius later make Kanda motivated to follow his dreams and supported by Akasaka Ryunosuke, but it also make him real frustrated about why it always Mashiro Shiina? Why he always fail? Why only geniuses like Mashiro can deal with all of it? He thought it's not fair. Thus make Mashiro Shiina thought she's the cause to Sorata's stress and thought about going back painting out of Japan.

Because you've been really mad lately. I wanted to talk to you so much. But you looked so mad. I didn't want that, I thought about what to do. About what would make you happy... About how could you have fun...  But I didn't know. I... this is all I could do.
