Have ever heard of Kokoroyomi Yome from Gakuen Alice? Have ever heard of Felicita from Arcana Famiglia? Well, they have the abilities to read people minds, so is Kotoura-san, the main character in this anime. But in this anime, it shows that by reading people minds, it can either hurt yourself, or the people which you read the mind.

Kotoura-san a girl who can read people minds, happen to meet Manabe, who's a pervert and keep thinking ecchi things. But Manabe's feelings for Kotoura is pure as she read his mind. While on the other side, Moritani who happens to have a crush on Manabe, get jealous and create some conflicts, which later she realize her mistake, and decide to just... see Kotoura and Manabe together.

The first episode of this anime is really sad, which is hard to not cry. Because of Kotoura's ability, she also asked by his senpai, named Mifune whose mother have the same ability as Kotoura, to join the ESP club. Mifune wants to heal her mother's pride, and reveal the truth, but during that, Kotoura can't handle it and have been in dangerous time, so she later stopped and disbanded the club. Her friend/crush who's always been with her everytime is Muroto Daichi. When you see him, he's short, and not cute. But when you see Mifune's past flashback, you're going to scream of his real face was.
