Sherlock Holmes is a fictional detective living in London, written by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle . He's accompanied by his friend Dr. Watson, who is a doctor in his search. Holmes is famous for deduction capability in solving the case.
Sherlock Holmes calls himself "consulting detective", the person who asked for help in a case when the case is considered too difficult to solve for police and other detectives , he can solve a case without leaving his house. He is very reliable in resolving cases of unusual analysis using extraordinary abilities, and often shows the ability to make a new client trust him with the direct analysis of the person. This strategy, of course, never fails to astonish and believe in his ability.
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle based Holmes from a teacher at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Edinburgh , a very talented surgeon and forensic detective Joseph Bell , which became the new science of forensic science at that time. " Holmes " is named after Oliver Wendell Holmes, who was much admired by Conan Doyle, and over England cricketer named Sherlock.
Sherlock Holmes lived at 221B Baker Street since 1881 where he spent his years with his colleague, dr . John H. Watson , with whom he shared a room for some time to marry Mary Morstan Watson in 1890.
In most of the Holmes stories accompanied by dr. Watson, who was not only a colleague, but also a writer. Most of the Holmes stories told by dr. Watson, on its completion in criminal matters; in the subsequent stories, Holmes criticizes Watson over Watson's writings as usual and write it as a story rather than a scientific explanation.
Holmes has an older brother, Mycroft Holmes, who appears in three stories, Translator Greece, Last Case, and Bruce-Partington Plans.
The separation between facts that are important and that's just coincidence, then make a theory based on the fact that the remaining. If there are new facts that are contrary to his theory, he will re-create a new theory based on the facts. He also collects data about the murder in the past in the form of newspaper clippings of crime news as Holmes argues that all cases have ever done and will be done again.
