Detective Haika

Also known as Squid Girl. It's a story about a squid girl who comes from the ocean to invade humans that makes pollution to the sea. There's a restaurant by the beach called Lemon Beach. Ika Musume tried to conquer it, thus make her destroy the place. Leading Eiko Aizawa, the manager of the restaurant, force Ika Musume to work there because of what she has done to the restaurant.

At first, Ika Musume refused to work there, and tried to rebel, but later, because of Chizuru Aizawa (Eiko's older sister) mysterious power, Ika Musume decided to work there. As the story goes, Ika Musume met unique people, the one who love her, the one who wants to be her slave, the one who scared of her, the one who wants to investigate her and etc. With that, several comedies are made.


Ika Musume have a chibi version anime too, it's in OVA. Where Eiko pet her and nice to her, and Ika Musume also nice to her and a bit spoiled as a pet. Cute isn't she? Kawaii, I just want to cuddle her. But no, I'm not Sanae Nagatsuki who tries to cuddle Ika Musume then get punched or so. Talking about "Invade" and someone called Ika Musume for an alien rather than a squid, I suddenly remember the anime called Keroro Gunso.

Those filthy humans have forgotten what the sea has given them and have been polluting the sea for their own gain. To creatures of the sea, humans have done nothing but harm to us. That’s why I will punish them! In order to protect the sea!
